The Botanical Gardens

Today was AWESOME!

I bet there are going to be some super duper tired kiddies tonight.

What a day we had! First we went to the Potter's Children garden.
We got to plant our own beans into small pots, then we planted radish seedlings into the garden.
It was pretty cool because we planted the radishes into the soil on our own. We even put in sheep poo into the soil and then watered the radishes with worm pee... needless to say, we found this pretty funny!

Then we learnt about the life cycle of a bean, what plants needs to grow and survive and we even checked out a worm farm using magnifying glasses to spot the different sized worms... Miss Glen wasn't a fan of the worms though!

More photos to come from our Photo Challenge soon :)

Lunch boxes

Attention Parents!

As hard as I try to monitor the children's eating - there is still a number of children who have full lunch boxes at the end of lunch time.

We have talked about the importance of eating our lunch during morning tea and lunch break and not running off to play with our friend's before the Duty Teacher can check.

Can you please has this chat with your child at home? I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks for the photos Jay

Congratulations!

I need help - What do I call our new Lamb?

 Spring is here!

On Father's Day I went and visited my Parents out in the country. I was pretty excited to find that one of the Sheep in the paddock had given birth to a baby Lamb.

My Dad let me know this evening that on closer inspection he is in fact a boy! Now what do I call him?

Comment with some ideas below :)
